The journey begins in Vieste, where you can take the ferry to the Tremiti Islands: in San Domino, we recommend an early morning visit to the Grotta del Sale, the Grotta delle Viole and the Grotta del Bue Marino. The itinerary continues in the region of Bari, in particular visiting Polignano a Mare. Here, we suggest taking the morning off to laze on the white shingle beach close to the old town and visit the Palazzese and Rondinelle caves, and in the evening strolling around the lively town centre, teeming with nightspots and workshops.
