Useful informations

The exhibition and its illustrative and didactic complements are aimed at teaching about the instruments used over time to study Earth Sciences, as well as the acquisition of concepts relative to the environment and its protection.
One sector is dedicated to geophysical research instruments, from gravimetry to geoelectricity, to seismology and magnetotellurics. Open laboratories with instruments and models allow visitors to participate in interactive experimentations to improve comprehension of some of the phenomena illustrated.
The Mineralogy and Petrography sector includes different collections of minerals and rocks. There are also historic scientific instruments used by scientists in the past
for mineralogical research.
To complete the exhibition, a small "open" Museum laboratory encourages visitors to discover and explore the fascinating properties of minerals and rocks first hand.
