The published information has no commercial purpose, it is provided for information and promotional purposes. Therefore, the information contained in the practical guide, referred to private facilities, is not exhaustive, since the portal is updated all the time.

Yes, the portal has a WEB GIS (geo-referencing) service, which shows the main tourist resorts of the region Apulia on a map.

3 - What is the practical guide?

It is a guide to the region?s tourist facilities. The search engine can be used to find the services that can help you organise your holiday in Apulia: accommodation, a selection of restaurants recommended by the major guides, banks, chemists, cinemas, theatres and a wide range of additional tourist facilities (holiday farms, wine-makers, horse riding centres, sporting clubs, etc.).

The portal is updated once a month, except for the database, which is updated less frequently (accommodation, banks, chemists, etc.).

The main sources of information are institutional and are always specified, unless the editorial board of the portal has contacted several direct sources (field search, telephone contacts, etc.)

Updated information on accommodation is sent – in accordance with the applicable regulations – by the Tourist Promotion Centres, which can update the database of the Regional Tourist Observatory.
