TRAVELING BY TRAIN
Ticket information >>
After purchase, you can use tickets within two months, while kilometer tickets can be used at any time. You must stamp the ticket in special machines available in train stations before you get on the train. If they do not work, please contact the station or train personnel. A failure to show your ticket or stamp it will imply ticket payment and an additional tax of 25.00 € .

If you decide not to leave and already purchased your ticket, you will be entitled to a bonus reimbursement, provided that this is requested: - Within two months for open-date tickets; - Within 30 minutes from stamping, before the train departure and tickets with place reservation (12h before for VL and couchette trains).
Cash reimbursement implies a 20% deduction from ticket price. Reimbursement applications may be submitted at any ticket office by returning the original ticket and showing identification papers, or online in case of national tickets that were bought on the Internet.For further information: www.trenitalia.it
TRAVELING BY AIRPLANE
According to the EC Regulation no. 261/2004, passengers who confirmed their reservation, provided with tickets and showing at reception in due manners and time, has the following rights: A) Choose between reimbursement with no fees and within seven dayS; B) Boarding on a different flight and support consisting of food, hotel room in case of overnight stays and relevant transport, two phone calls, faxes or e-mail; C) acompensation, to be paid immediately.
Should passengers suffer any damages resulting from inefficiency, they shall be entitled to reimbursement according to the following rules (this right has a two-year duration). - Damages due to delay - Damages to luggage - Injuries

HOTELS AND OTHER ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES
When hotel operators accept customer reservation, then an hotel agreement is stipulated and these are mutually bound. Customer undertakes to occupy the room made available by the hotel operator within the established terms. If customer does not arrive, the hotel operator shall be entitled to ask for a compensation. It is recommended that you cancel your reservation in time.
RESTAURANTS
At least one price list should be available inside the place. They should include the price of foods, drinks, place setting and service. Any faults in hygiene may be communicated to Local Health Authorities or Carabinieri NAS (Nucleo Antisofisticazioni). Restaurant operators are only held responsible for any robbery you may suffer inside the place when stolen goods were being kept by the operator."ALL INCLUSIVE" TRAVELS AND VACATIONS
Trading of all-inclusive travels and vacations is ruled in detail by the Code of Consumption (art. 82 – 100 of OC no. 206 of September 6 2006). Normally, such agreements are already written and may not be changed. Recently, the European Court of Justice acknowledged the refundability of moral damages for having a vacation ruined because of faults by tour Operators.HOW TO SETTLE ANY DISPUTES
When consumer deems he/she has suffered a damage and is not able to receive a compensation he/she is entitled to, then he/she may request support from a consumer's association such as the Mediation Office available at Chambers of Commerce (Bari, Foggia, Lecce and Taranto).
Should a settlement be impossible, an Arbitration may be requested at the Chamber of Commerce.
If none of the above-mentioned is possible, a Justice of Peace may be consulted.
