A new look for the Municipal Museum of San Severo. On Saturday, April 4, the new spaces of the MAT - Museo dell’Alto Tavoliere will be presented to the public, with archaeological relics unseen up until now that range from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages. From the Municipal Museum to research centres and documentation of a territory as vast as that of the Alto Tavoliere. The new exhibitions and new relics will be presented to the public in the inaugural ceremony on Saturday, April 4 at 6 pm. The halls of the Museum will also host three temporary shows dedicated to the world of comics and part of the “Ad Andrea & C. Fatti e personaggi dal mondo del fumetto" project, under the artistic direction of prof. Teo de Palma and with the support of the Provincial Administration. The shows: “Andrea Pazienza. Il graffio del Segno”, (April 5 - May 3): a tribute to famous cartoonists and illustrators by Teo de Palma, Elena Antonacci, and Antonello Vigliaroli “Persistenze sul confine dell'immagine”, (May 9 - June 7): beginning with the artistic and life experience of Andrea Pazienza, a show of the works of 24 artists of national and international renown. The show is organised by prof. Massimo Bignardi, Director of the Contemporary Art History Department of the University of Siena. "JACOVITTI. Antologia 1939-1997", (June 13 - August 31): organised by Silvia Jacovitti and Dino Aloi, the show summarises the entire career of the artist, who died in 1997.
