The municipality of Castrignano del Capo extends from Serra di Vereto to the Adriatic coast, and is very rich in history, culture and legends, as well as a spectacular nature: churches, castles, ancient villages, coastal towers, caves. The pearl of the area is Marina of Leuca, with the Sanctuary of the Madonna de Finibus Terrae, at the point where the Adriatic and Ionian seas meet. The menhir with a hat of Giuliano is the most ancient piece of evidence of the history of this area, and the only find of the kind in the province.
