Set up in a 19th century rural building, recently renovated thanks to the Por Puglia 2000-2006 initiative, it is situated in the suburbs, a few metres away from the church of the Santissimo Crocifisso; it takes its name from the area known as “Di Papale”, on the borders of the municipalities of Leporano and L’Isola Amministrativa in Taranto. This little gem was set up by the La Ngegna association with the participation of all the local people, who donated more than 600 farming civilisation artefacts, which are now kept on the ground floor of the rural building, with antiqued internal vaults. You can start the visit with agricultural production and go on to the bedroom and to the clothes of the old country people.
