This museum is currently hosted at prestigious Palazzo Sticchi. It is a didactic museum full of illustrative panels explaining stages and aspects of history and civilization between the Cretaceous period up to Metals Age. A wider documentation deals with the period between the beginning of late Pleistocene and the end of the Bronze Age, representing the main stages of human settlement over the territory, up to its passing during middle Paleolithic. A restoration laboratory is currently operating in this museum.
