A white table wine, available as sparkling wine. Minimum alcoholic strength is 11 degrees. It is considered one of the most promising quality white wines in the region.
At a visual inspection it looks straw yellow, with dark green flecks, its flavour is rich and lasting, fruity, flowery, with soft scents of peach and hawthorn. The taste is dry, round and fresh, fairly full-bodied and well-balanced, not too overwhelming.
Matches - How to consume it:
It is preferably drunk with simple dishes, such as delicate fish starters, pasta dishes with light fish sauces, boiled fish, fried oily fish, sautéed cuttlefish and octopus, omelettes. The best time to drink it is within one-two years of the harvest.
How to recognize it:
As well as mentioning the Registered Designation of Origin, the label must include all the information laid down by the law: native region; designation, in which the cultivar from which the wine comes is matched to the geographical area in which it is grown; nominal volume of the wine; bottler’s name or corporate name and address; bottler’s number and code; country; batch number; ecological information.
