Palazzo Torres, built by Martino Torres in the first half of the XVI century, was the prestigious seat of important regional institutions, including the Apulian Court of Appeal, until less than half a century ago. Because of its strategic position between the Cathedral and the castle, at the beginning of the XIX century it hosted also the first repertory theatre of the town. Nowadays, it is the seat of Trani Judicial Institutes.
