Built at the behest of the important Santa Croce family, the namesake palace in Barletta overlooks the small square just before the cathedral, offering an amazing view to admire in the very town centre.
The lower part of the façade dates back to the 14th century and has the typical elements of the medieval architecture, while the main portal is topped by a pointed arch, with coursed rubble walls.
The upper part is probably the most recent one and is characterised by some large windows, among which stands out the central one, with a small balcony.
The palace is private and cannot be visited.
