The Palazzo, the symbol of Piazza Manfredi, is shaped like a square tower in Baroque-Renaissance style and dates back to 1700, when it was built by the Marquis of Oria, Michele III Imperiali. It was the seat of the Decurions and that is why it is also known as “Seggio dei Nobili”(the seat of the nobles). The façade has two statues, S. Barsanofio Abate and S. Carlo Borromeo, with a coat of arms between them: a Bird and two Lions, worthy emblems of this town. Nowadays it is used for exhibitions.
