On Christmas Eve, visitors can enjoy a historical reconstruction of the Nativity and attend Holy Mass in the magnificent Crypt of San Biagio.
Following the religious rite, the nearby Masseria Jannuzzo offers Christmas specialities served with mulled wine. The event is organised by the Town Council of San Vito dei Normanni, in collaboration with Associazione Turistica Pro Loco.

The event takes place in the Crypt of San Biagio, excavated out of rock at the centre of a 12th century monastic settlement situated in Jannuzzo, between San Vito dei Normanni and Brindisi.
The Crypt contains paintings depicting scenes from the life of Christ (the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Flight into Egypt, the Presentation in the Temple, the Entry into Jerusalem), scenes from the life of Saint Biagio, episodes from the apocryphal Gospels, and portraits of Saints of Eastern and Western Christianity.
