A tour of the Porto Cesareo Marine Protected Area, with ten amazing different environments, where you will see the characteristically Mediterranean Neptune grass, corals developing under soft light, and the area’s karstic marine caves. You will also visit the Marine Biology Museum, where the marvels of the Salentine sea are on display, along with a collection of tropical fish, Ionian deep sea fish, an algae farm and a herbarium. Next stop, the Specialized Nature Reserves of the Eastern Taranto Coastline, with tours that span the sandy dunes of the Ionian sea and the holm oak forests, where you will have an opportunity to observe the local plants and wildlife.

The Marine Biology Museum is not accessible to differently abled visitors. Some of the trails in the Eastern Taranto Coastline Reserves are wheelchair accessible.
Useful informations
We reccomend wearing comfortable clothing, trekking shoes, a cap to protect from harmful sun rays and a pocket rain jacket. Bring bottled water. We recommend bringing a camera.
