The tour starts in Santa Maria di Leuca, where you see beautiful Moorish villas and sea caves; you will have a chance to admire the marvellous view with its scenic lighthouse, which marks the place where the Ionian and Adriatic seas meet, and see the Basilica of Santa Maria, at the spot also known as "de finibus terree". The tour continues in Gagliano del Capo, where you will visit the splendid Ciolo cove, a canyon dug by a white water river, along which are caves with traces of the presence of mankind dating back to prehistory. In Tricase, you will be mesmerized by a gigantic ancient Valonia oak. In Castro, you will take a speleological tour of the Zinzulusa cave, which is brimming with stalactites and stalagmites and which also shows traces of mankind dating back to prehistoric times. The tour ends in Santa Cesarea Terme, with its oriental style villas, its numerous caves, rocky coastal cliffs and stacks jutting out from the sea.
