The church is rife with architectural, sculptural and decorative features, with its fine belfry, the Doric pediment, the organ, the pulpit, the two choirs, the six shutters, the small vestry and the five altars. The high altar, all made of polychrome marble inlaid in Naples, houses the Most Holy Sacrament and two identical little doors on the right and hand side: one, overlooking the convent, was used to communicate with the nuns, the other one was used to keep the oil for the sick. The high altar is dedicated to the Holy Spirit, while the other four, two per side, are dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, Saint Philip and Saint Julianne, Saint Pellegrino Laziosi and the Seven Founders.
