The Suevian Castle, as with other castles in Puglia, was extended and transformed over the centuries and today presents a style of architecture that is typical of Suevian constructions, with its history acting as testimony to the alternating dynasties and denominations. The castle is characterised by its Suevian architecture that derives from its geometric regularity and the linearity of the entire structure. The fortress is today the location of the national archaeological museum of Manfredonia, where you can visit different exhibitions of Neolithic archaeological artefacts.
